The Luckiest Man In the World |
|
Thursday, 02 September 2010 07:38 |
Apparently, God has big plans for 22-year-old Thomas Magill of Manhattan, New York. Because that's the only explanation for why he's alive today.
On Monday, Thomas jumped off a 39-story high rise in Manhattan. He fell more than 400 feet. By the time he was close to the ground he was falling at 126 miles-per-hour. And he survived.
A 40-year-old named Guy McCormack had just parked his wife's Dodge Charger right in front of the building. So Thomas didn't hit the pavement,he crashed through the back windshield of the Charger and landed in the backseat instead.
And thanks to the Charger, he didn't die. In fact, all things considered, he got out of there cheap.with only a broken leg, a shattered ankle and a collapsed lung. He's in critical condition, but it looks like he's going to pull through.
The police won't say for sure why Thomas jumped. Apparently, he had posted something on Facebook beforehand saying, quote, "I hate my life" . . . so it looks like it was a suicide attempt.
According to the "New York Post", Thomas is an aspiring actor and has been working at DKNY and Club Monaco stores to make ends meet.

Adjust Your Cleavage On the Go |
|
Wednesday, 01 September 2010 08:04 |
This one's for any woman out there who's sick and tired of your boss coming over and staring down your shirt while he talks to you. And no, the solution isn't "wear less revealing clothes to work." God forbid.
It's a product called Cami Secret, and it lets you adjust the amount of cleavage you're showing on the go. Maybe you've seen one of their stupid infomercials.
Basically, it's just a rectangle of fabric with lace on top that looks like the chest part of a camisole.
You hook it to your bra, so it looks like you're actually wearing a full camisole. And you can slide it up or down your bra straps, depending on how much cleavage you want to show. In other words, it's a "Dickey" for women.
They say you can get six Cami Secrets for $10 in black, beige, white, navy, brown and ivory. Of course, they don't mention that they tack on $14 for shipping and handling, so it's really $24, or $4 each.

What Are the Most Dangerous Jobs? |
|
Tuesday, 31 August 2010 07:17 |
The Bureau of Labor Statistics just put out its annual list of the most dangerous jobs in America, and just like they do every year, for some reason they decided not to include "crack whore."
Overall, in 2009, only 4,340 people died on the job in the U.S. That's down 16.8% from 2008, and it's the lowest death rate ever reported.

A Woman Tries to Smuggle a Baby Tiger In Her Luggage |
|
Monday, 30 August 2010 06:43 |
Baby tigers are absolutely adorable. Sure, they have the potential to maul and kill you at any given momentbut look at their little stripes!
Last week, 31-year-old Piyawan Palasarn of Bangkok, Thailand, was busted trying to smuggle a baby tiger cub out of the country by flying to Iran and checking the tiger in her suitcase.
To get away with it, she drugged him so he wouldn't move a lot and put a stuffed toy tiger in the suitcase with him.
But her suitcase was overweight, and officials at the airport in Bangkok decided to X-ray it to see what was going on. And obviously, the X-ray showed a live animal moving around inside.
Piyawan was arrested and charged with illegal wildlife smuggling. She could get up to four years in prison.
She was trying to smuggle the tiger to Iran, where it could've pulled in $3,200 on the black market. Turns out exotic pets are really popular in Iran.
Experts say the cub probably would've died on the flight he was dehydrated when they found him, and several hours in the air could've killed him. He was taken to a wildlife preserve in Bangkok where he's recovering.

Women Are Naughtier Than Thought |
|
Tuesday, 24 August 2010 07:46 |
Just remember, ladies, next time you see me . . . my eyes are up here.
A team of researchers at the Center for Behavioral Neuroscience just finished up a study to test what men and women focus on when they look at porno. And the results were the opposite of what they expected.
They figured that men's eyes would go straight to the women's naughty parts and women would be more interested in seeing the performers' faces. That's not at all what happened.
In the study, most women would just fixate on the junk flapping around on screen while the men wanted to check out the porn skank's attractiveness before they checked out her goods.
The researchers aren't sure why it happens, but one theory is that men watch more porno than women, so they're more accustomed to seeing people have sex on-screen.
And since the mere sight of people fornicating doesn't necessarily turn men on anymore they need to see how attracted they are to the woman who's doing the fornicating.
And since women watch less porno, the attractiveness of the porno stars doesn't really matter, and the mere sight of bodies slapping together gives them those oh-so-wrong-yet-oh-so-right feelings down below.
