After an exciting weekend of Men’s Maverick Hockey they now gear up for a home and home series against the St. Cloud State Huskies! Mavs host Friday night at the Verizon Wireless Center puck dropping at 7:37 pm. Saturday, we’re on the road to St. Cloud for a 7:07 pm start time. Listen to all the WCHA action with fan reaction from Brad Steele and award winning play by play broadcaster, Mike Sullivan on our sister station AM 1420 KTOE.

The world famous Harlem Globetrotters will be coming to the Verizon Wireless Center Sunday April 4th at 3 pm to perform their 2010 Magical Memories Tour. Be part of the Seventh Annual Walk to Defeat ALS on Saturday, April 17th to help raise money for the ALS Association Minnesota Chapter. The walk will be three miles along the Red Jacket and Mankato West Trails. Registration will begin at 9 am Saturday morning and the walk begins at 10 am. There will be snacks, refreshments and entertainment provided. ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease can affect anyone at anytime. Come join the fight in defeating ALS. |

High school Students are you interested becoming a Mankato Area Lancer? Interested in traveling throughout Minnesota, making music and friends? Friday March 12th is Lancer Recruiting Night in the Mankato West Gym from 6-8 pm. There will be a meeting along with pizza and various games with the chance to win prizes. It’s Mankato’s Premier Marching Band for over 31 years, join the Mankato Area Lancers by attending this Friday night from 6-8. |
